Girls Indoor Soccer

CHYSC Girls Indoor Soccer Winter 2010:

The Club sponsors girls’-only teams in the Philadelphia Department of Recreation indoor soccer league. Games are played at City recreation centers in January, February and March, typically consisting of 8-10 games followed by playoffs. U-8 to U-11 teams play their home games at Springside School on Sunday afternoons and U-12 to U-16 teams play their home games on Saturday afternoons at a location to be determined. There are practices weekends in December and weekends in January through March when there are no game scheduled. There are no weeknight practices, but there may be occasional weeknight away games. Equipment consists of uniforms (provided by the Club), shin guards and indoor soccer shoes.

• Indoor soccer registrations must be done online at www.CHYSC.org.
• The fee is $100, plus family dues of $25 if not paid for calendar year 2009. Fees are due at the time of registration.
• Registration for indoor soccer does not guarantee participation. Participation is based upon competitive tryouts. Tryouts are in early November.
• Not all players will be selected for a team.
• Teams can only be formed if a sufficient number of players qualify for a team.
• All players must play in their age-appropriate group unless the indoor soccer commissioner approves a change.
• If a player is not selected for a team you will receive a full refund. You must contact the club registrar and provide the credit card number and expiration date used for registration.
